Amateur Radio Extra license class offered

 

Location: LDS Church, Spokane 14111 E 16th Ave, Spokane Valley, WA, Spokane, WA.
(near 16th and Evergreen) Class will be held in room 101.
Dates: November 21st and December 5th from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

We will take a 30 minute break for lunch at noon (plus or minus half an hour), and 10 minute breaks mid morning and mid afternoon. Our class sessions will start promptly at 8:30 am please be there on time.

Registration: You must register for this class by e-mailing the instructor at ad7fo@arrl.net your name, call sign, email address and a phone number where you can be reached at if there is a last minute class schedule change. Registration Confirmation: You will be sent a return email letting you know if you have been accepted into the class. Class size will be limited to a maximum of 20 students. Materials required:

  • Sixth edition of the ARRL General Class License Manual recommended but not required
  • Copy of Instructors Syllabus – Available in printed form from available from the UPS Store (for cost of reproduction, ~$8) at 57th and Regal, or on a CD-ROM from the instructor if you want to print it yourself (it is over 100 pages).
  • A Scientific Calculator that you know how to use.
  • Access to a PC with internet access to take practice exams.
